Sneak Peak ~ Summer Boys

I haven't blogged for a while {YIKES} but I just HAD to post a sneak peak from my session this afternoon! What a great family and the boys are adorable.

I have so much more that I need to get out here on my blog. I am working on making some website & blog changes...stay tuned! Also - fall isn't far away and I am getting ready for some great sessions with all of the wonderful fall colors!

That new baby smell ...x2! As I was wrapping up this session we finally got both of the little ones asleep - not only asleep, but side by side and holding hands! Had a bunch of fun with the {drummond family} and what a beautiful family! Mom is a knockout and you would never be able to tell she gave birth to twins only 4 weeks ago!

WOW - I have been busy. I mean normal life with 3 little ones is usually a little crazy anyways, but lately its been surreal! So I have been WAY behind on blogging.

I just got a new fabulous lens for my camera and have been playing around with it ~ love when I get new toys! I have showed up at my son's t-ball game with my new 70-200mm lens ...I probably look like I am some crazed mom with this huge lens hanging off my camera as 3-5 year olds line up to hit the ball. Okay so maybe I am a little crazed ; )

I have plans for a few more new toys - next purchase is a new camera {time to upgrade} and another lens that I have my eye on. Hopefully this week!

I am getting ready to attend a workshop with the uber talented Brianna Graham - can't wait!!!

And since this is a photography blog - Got a chance to do pictures for this adorable little girl a couple of weeks ago.

Well apparently my greatly loved mac is loaded to the max {aka I have so many pictures on it that its not happy with me} So I am working on backing up my files. In the next couple of days I will be removing all of my '08 sessions and saving them to cd. If you drop me an email or call before the end of the month I will make you a copy of your session for less than half of what I normally charge for a pix cd.

{hiatus}

...WOW! Yes it really has been that long...has this year gone by insanely fast or am I just in my own little world?

So yes I have been on hiatus.

We had so much going on I was insanely busy at work, everyone including me got sick and then the holidays. Tucked inside that I had a ton of pictures around the holidays.

So I took a little down time after getting everyone their pictures and we did get a chance to have a really good Christmas, although there were days that I thought I might deck the next person that asked if I was ready for Christmas...uh no. But it came anyway and things quieted down - well as quiet as a house with a 5 yr, 3yr and 9 month old can be and we enjoyed the wonder of our little girl's very first Christmas. Its those moments that you realize what is really important.

Here is to everyone having the best year they can & taking the time to enjoy what is important to you!

Lastly ~ I need to get a few pictures out from some past sessions. I will start with one from some of my favorite little ones ~ my niece & nephew.

A special session ~ Delaney turns 6 months

Laney loves her cloth diapers! The are so cute, sometimes I have a hard time picking which ones to put on her. Our local spot for cloth diapers is Best Start Parenting in Lynchburg, VA.

Here is a sneak peak at the two adorable little ones that I was fortunate to photography. We had a fun morning outside - the weather was great for pictures, although it was a little humid, the kids did not seem to mind. What Little Miss H did mind - was the grasshoppers ; )
